Welcome to worship. Please join us after the morning service for tea and coffee in the Gathering Area (reached through the west door opposite the front entrance). Parents and small children are welcome at worship. A crèche may be found off the main entrance porch. Toilets & baby changing facility are in the Gathering Area.   A defibrillator is on site and is to be found next to the Church Officer during all church services and in Room 2 of Knox Church Halls during the week. Large print orders of service are available at front door. Please wear your name badges.  If you require a new (or replacement) name badge or, if you wish to have your name added to the Knox News distribution list, please fill in the form found in the Magazine Rack at the back of the Church. Sunday Morning Sermons are available each week in the magazine rack at the back of the church or may be found on the web - http://knoxchurch-dunedin.blogspot.com/

Rod Mitchell invites all who are interested to hear a report on a conference he attended in California recently.  Conference speakers included Ken Wilber, Barbara Hubbard, Andrew Cohen and Michael Dowd. ·        Nicholas Haslam returned from Myanmar in time for Christmas.  Clare Thomson’s time in Myanmar has just come to a close.  We look forward to welcoming her back to Knox in the middle of the year.

·         Inaugural Lecture at Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership. Tuesday 7 February 1.30pm.  Mark Johnston:  “Uneasy Rider: Challenges facing ministry of Word and Sacrament in a post missional climate”.  All welcome

 

·         Public lecture by acclaimed Christian thinker and communicator Michael Hardin (founder of Preaching Peace) on “The Sacrifice of the Cross: by whom and for whom?” Tues 6th March, 5.10 – 6.15pm, Archway 2. Co-sponsored by the Centre for Theology and Public Issues and the National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Otago.
