Knox Church


offers an excellent  venue for many
types of art performances.

 

Seating 700 or so, on the sloping ground floor
and gallery on three sides, Knox Church provides
a compact, intimate auditorium for live theatre and
music in a beautiful historic setting.


Knox Church has a high quality sound system
and a modern lighting system to enhance performance,
with additional power outlets in the stage area.

 A clear, level area of 12.5m by 4.8m is available
for orchestras, or extra staging.

Church staff and volunteers are available to assist
with arrangements and operations,
or to provide catering and/or ushers.


Knox Church has been the venue for events
as varied as Bic Runga,
the St Kilda Brass Band,
the Tower Youth Orchestra and the
City of Dunedin Choir,
chamber music performances
and organ recitals.
